Two strangers were asked to pose in a photograph together. You won’t believe what happened next.
Photographer Richard Renaldi approaches random people he meets on New York City’s streets and asks them to pose in photos together as if they actually knew each other. Despite the fact that these people are requested to show a brief, fake sign of affection to each other, what the photographs reflect is unbelievable.

Yesterday I decided to take a break from photo editing and read about what some of my favorite photographers are working on. As I jumped from link to link I came across this amazing article online about a Turkish artist (Ali Alamedy) that spent 9 months producing a miniature 1900’s photography studio. Alamedy researched techniques used in the early 1990’s to accurately represent tools and equipment. You can check out the article by clicking on the picture below.
Mother’s Day was this past weekend and as a mother myself I cherish every moment I am able to spend with my daughter. I have a box full of photographs of her growing up and every time I take a peek in that box I am reminded of how fast time flew by and how I wish I could have kept her young just a little longer. Many mothers feel the same way I do which is why I wanted to create a Mother-Daughter session in hopes of capturing beautiful moments between mothers and their daughters. I wanted to incorporate soft pastel colors and flowers to showcase spring time in San Diego.
